The best way to prevent malicious proposals is to add multiple vetoers to the project. Simply stopping the project cannot block them, since they already hold a large number of NFTs.
Iwe assigned vetoers in this contract (0x7adeea79c2fec96ab3818310c0eb733c78211d53), each of these users will be able to cancel a malicious proposal.
