Proposal
Update the Voting Period from 19,710 seconds (5.4 hours) to 345,600 seconds (4 days) and update the Voting Delay from 13,140 (3.65 hours) to 86,400 (1 day).
Description
During initial contract setup the Voting Period and Voting Delay were set to 5.4 hours and 3.65 hours respectively. To provide Purple holders more time to review Proposals and vote, we propose to increase these values to 4 days and 1 day.
Pros:
- Reduces the chances of an overnight griefing attack
- Improves likelihood that a given Proposal will reach Quorum
- Friendlier for voters who may not be able to vote from mobile
Cons:
- Governance process takes longer to reach execution
