The Robinyan Health Centre serves as the only health access point for several surrounding communities. Years of neglect have left it in poor condition — broken structures, no fence, poor utilities, and outdated or missing medical tools.

This project aims to fully restore the facility to operational excellence, provide essential medical equipment, and establish sustainability mechanisms to ensure lasting impact.

This proposal aims to:

• Renovate and re-paint Heath Centre structures.
• Repair and plaster the compound ground.
• Install clean water and restore electrical systems.
• Supply essential medical equipment and furniture.
• Fence the compound for better safety and hygiene.
• Document every phase with video and photography for transparency and awareness.

Scope of Work and Budget Allocation

The total estimated cost of $17,850 covers all materials, labor, and documentation. Below is the breakdown:

A. Building Restoration and Masonry

This involves repairing deteriorated sections of the building and reconstructing areas affected by cracks, erosion, and age. Key Activities:

• Replacement of damaged wall sections using blocks, supported by cement, sand, and binding wire for reinforcement.
• Strengthening of structural joints using 12mm and 8mm iron rods to stabilize the foundation and walls.
• Recasting of weak pillars and beams for long-term durability.
• Resurfacing of the compound floor with fresh screed to improve hygiene and accessibility.

Materials:

• Cement, blocks, sharp sand, granite, and reinforcement rods (reused and supplemented locally).

Local materials are sourced to reduce transport costs and encourage community participation.

B. Roofing Restoration

A partial replacement and repair of the roofing structure is necessary to stop leaks and ensure complete protection of patients and equipment. Key Activities:

• Reinforcement of the wooden frame with treated planks (2x4 and 2x3).
• Replacement of corroded or broken aluminum roofing sheets (5.5mm thickness).
• Re-sealing and re-nailing of existing roof sections with waterproof sealants and roofing nails.
• Installation of ceiling boards in consultation and maternity rooms for insulation and cleanliness.

Treated planks, aluminum sheets, flat sheets, nails, sealants, and waterproofing materials.

C. Plastering, Fencing, and Compound Leveling
