Lil Nouns DAO

TL;DR

Distribute 69 Lil feeders, made from recycled plastic, across iconic street points in Rio de Janeiro and São Paulo, offering food, water, and visibility of Lil Nouns.

Why this matters ?

In many cities around the world like Rio and São Paulo, thousands of stray animals live in a constant state of invisibility. They exist in every neighborhood, but they’re nobody’s responsibility. StrayStrong was born out of that urgency to make difference in strays lives looking forward to become a NGO. The Lil feeder is our first product, a replicable tool for street care, decentralized action, and public engagement that anyone can use or reproduce, anywhere.

The Project

Our goal is to produce and install 69 Lil feeders in Rio de Janeiro and São Paulo, with Nouns House as a partner in feeder distribution.

• Each feeder is handmade using ocean and recycled plastic and every feeder removes around 1kg of plastic from nature, while supporting better waste management.
• The project creates safe, accessible spots for strays to eat and drink also educating and inspiring people to interact with these art pieces, serving as passive onboarding tools for Lil Nouns.
• The feeders act as living communication points. Stickers and QR codes can be added to share campaigns, events, or digital drops blending social, environmental, and digital impact.
• Establish a network of lil keepers (as stores, pet shops, restaurants) to maintain them until a new culture is created
• A new culture, a new habit, this is a behavior we want to encourage: generosity and solidarity for the strays.

Product Details

The feeders will be printed with Casa Plastica as a partner, with part of ocean plastic collect by Limpeza de Praias.

Each compartment of the feeder will measure approximately 20 to 22.5 cm per side.

Community Engagement and Visibility

Each Lil feeder will be placed in high-traffic areas with strong community needs, ensuring visibility and meaningful public engagement.

All feeders will feature clear QR codes with trilingual instructions (Portuguese, English, Spanish), offering:

• Short story about the feeders and Lil Nouns community
• How to use and maintain the feeder.
• QR Code to donation wallet to keep effort going
• Information on joining the Lil Nouns community (lilnouns.auction and lilnouns.wtf).

Additional features like campaign drops, event updates, or special activations.

Limpeza de Praias is a non-profit organization founded in 2023 with a mission to recover waste from nature and regenerate ecosystems. Since the beginning, we’ve removed over 12 tons of waste from beaches, rivers, and lagoons through more than 200 professional clean-up actions, all made possible through collective funding.

We’re in an early-stage journey to become a DAO rooted in community, regeneration, and creativity.

Deliverables: Rio de Janeiro (6 Months)

First 2 months :

• Prototype development in steel mold (with Casa Plástica).
• Launch full nounish website connecting with Lil Nouns
• Remove ~69 kg of ocean plastic.

Last 4 months :

• Produce and install 69 Lil FOUNS
• Facilities near businesses to take care of lil feeders for the start
• Seek partnerships with pet shops, stores, and digital content creators.

Considerations:

• Focus installations in high-need areas with high visibility for Lil Nouns
• Each feeder will have a dog parent : a local store, pet shop, or anyone from the community who wants to take loving care of it
• Community generating passive content from feeder interactions
• QR Code also for donation from passersby

Metrics:

• Voluntary feeder refilling (with photo proof on Instagram).
• Lil Nouns NFT acquisitions (via link tracking).
• Social media posts.

6-Month Goals:

• Install 69 street feeders (starting month 3).

Who am I ?

I love bringing ideas to life in playful ways. Lil Nouns and Nouncilor member, artist, and nature lover. I created Lil FOUNS and founded Stray Strong, a project that supports stray animals with care and local impact. I’m part of the GreenPill community, Precious Noggles ecosystem, and also work with Limpeza de Praias, a nounish NGO focused on beach cleanups. Actively onboarding new people into the Nouns universe wherever I go.
