Claiming $LIL from NFTX Pool for Treasury
TL;DR
Lil Nouns holds about 97% of the liquidity in the Lil Nouns NFTX pool, which earns us $LIL tokens over time. This proposal is about formally claiming those tokens and bringing them into our treasury.
Why This Matters
The DAO already holds enough $LIL for users to request Lil Nouns as part of their proposals through the Lil Nouns transfer option in the proposal dialog. Right now, we have around 49 Lil Nouns, based on $LIL tokens we hold in treasury and that number will increase if this proposal passes.
Thanks to a new feature in Lil Nouns Camp, requests like ask for tokens are now built into the proposal flow. No extra steps; just a streamlined way to ask from treasury assets.
Once the tokens are in the treasury, we can decide how to use them. Some options:
- Pay contributors for their work
- Swap them for more Lil Nouns to strengthen the DAO
This is just a housekeeping proposal; taking care of existing assets and ensuring we keep things efficient.
