Lil Nouns DAO

Objective

This proposal seeks funding for Lils to have an exciting, playful, and interactive presence at Nouns Town 2024 in Los Angeles. The initiatives outlined below will embody the vibrant, quirky, and fun nature of Lil Nouns, ensuring that attendees experience the essence of Lils and create fun nounish memories.

Why This Matters for Lil Nouns Nouns Town 2024 is the perfect platform for Lil Nouns to make a splash and showcase its playful, inclusive vibe. By bringing interactive elements such as a take-home CC0 art gallery, live nounish caricatures, yard games, and engaging kendama activities, this event will give Lil Nouns a chance to stand out. This playful experience will reinforce Lil Nouns’ unique character within the broader Nouniverse.

Initiatives

1. Curate a CC0 Art Gallery A gallery of curated CC0 art, which attendees will be able to claim and take home. A variety of CC0 and nounish art will be curated and printed on high-quality paper, then displayed in the Nouns Town venue. When the event is over, the pieces will be made available for attendees to take home with them.

2. Nounish Caricatures and Vinyl Decals by Yonfrula Yonfrula, a talented nounish artist, will be brought in to create custom vinyl decals for attendees to use with heat presses in the maker space, allowing them to take home a piece of Lil Nouns with them. He will also do personalized nounish sketches during the event.

3. Maker Space Kendamas In the spirit of hands-on fun, we will supply kendamas with unfinished tamas (the wooden ball) and let attendees unleash their creativity by customizing their own.

4. Novelty Kendamas What’s more playful than a kendama? How about a whole collection of novelty kendamas, including fun variations like the 5 spike, 6 cup, 10 cup, kaiju, sumo, and fuzzy kendamas!

5. Yard Games We will rent a few yard games for the day to place throughout the venue. These will include giant jenga, giant connect four, and giant pong.

6. Lil Nouns Prizes To ramp up the fun even more, we will give away Lil Nouns as prizes for various mini games. We’ll purchase Lil Nouns at auction so all of this ETH is returned to the DAO, then give away these Lil Nouns as prizes for various games during the event.

7. Happy Hour with Builder DAO Builder DAO will be hosting a Happy Hour at Hotel Erwin on Tuesday 10/8, and then Builders and Bagels at Menotti’s on Friday 10/12. The venues and food, as well as drinks during Bagel’s and Builders, have been covered by Builder DAO Proposal 17, and we think it would be awesome for Lils to sponsor the happy hour and cover drinks so attendees can simply show up and have a good time.

• Yonfrula Travel and Accommodation: 2 ETH
• Novelty Kendamas and Maker Space Kendamas: 0.5 ETH
• Yard Games: 0.25 ETH
• Lils for Giveaways: 1 ETH
• Happy Hour with Builder DAO: 0.5 ETH
• Project Management: 1 ETH
• Total: 6 ETH (5 ETH net after 1 ETH is returned to the treasury buying Lils)

By funding this proposal, Lil Nouns will be supporting a unique opportunity to engage with the wider Nouniverse, making a memorable impression that draws more people into Lil Nouns.
