Our current proposal approval process takes about 7 days: 2 days of waiting, 3 days of voting, and 2 days in the final queue.

Ethereum has changed, and each block now takes 12 seconds. This means our current waiting period of 13,140 blocks is around 44 hours, and our voting period of 19,710 blocks is about 66 hours.

To align with Ethereum’s speed, I propose we adjust our process. Let’s shorten the waiting period to one day (7,200 blocks) and extend the voting period to four days (28,800 blocks). This way, it still takes 7 days overall, but we gain an extra day for voting, helping us make more thoughtful decisions.

This change will streamline our proposal approval process, keeping it efficient and in sync with Ethereum’s current block times, while giving us more time for voting and better decision-making.
