Lil Nouns DAO

As of block number 19701574, there are 2,252 holders of Lil Nouns tokens. Of these, only 67 addresses have the capability to submit proposals due to the current requirement of possessing at least 8 tokens. This high threshold has unfortunately contributed to a stagnation in community involvement. Notably, our recent initiatives and Prop House rounds, which were once vital for attracting new participants, have diminished in effectiveness and are no longer actively pursued.

Given these circumstances, I suggest we consider lowering the proposal threshold from 8 tokens to just 2. This adjustment would potentially expand the pool of eligible proposers from the current 67 to approximately 467. While this reduction significantly lowers the barrier to participation, it maintains a necessary level of spam protection. Additionally, it could incentivize holders of a single Lil Nouns token to acquire one more, thus fostering a deeper commitment to our community.

Implementing this change could reinvigorate engagement by enabling more members to contribute their ideas directly on-chain, ensuring that fresh perspectives and innovations are brought forth.
