Introduction

This proposal seeks to introduce a feature within the Auction House smart contract for adjusting auction duration, alongside necessary frontend upgrades. Aimed at enhancing the auction mechanism’s flexibility and user experience, this initiative aligns with the DAO’s ethos of innovation and community-driven development.

Objective

Implement a smart contract feature allowing for the dynamic adjustment of auction durations by the DAO governance, complemented by UI/UX enhancements to facilitate user interaction with this new functionality.

Technical Specifications

• Smart Contract Modification: Development of a new Solidity function in the Auction House contract to enable auction duration adjustments, incorporating security measures to maintain system integrity.
• Frontend Upgrade: Update the user interface to reflect the ability to adjust auction durations, ensuring a user-friendly experience.

  • Testnet Deployment: Deploy changes to a testnet for thorough testing, including unit and integration tests.

Implementation Plan

2. Testnet Deployment: Implement the feature on a testnet for integration testing and frontend development.

Budget

A total of 2.69 ETH is requested to cover smart contract and frontend development, testing, and project management.
