Proposal: Dev Onboarding Through ETH Denver Location: ETH Denver & Prop House Audience: Developers Team: Bixbite & English

Overview: Send Bixbite & English to ETHDenver, the premier Web3 #BUIDLathon, to actively engage with blockchain enthusiasts and developers. This initiative aims to elevate Lil Nouns’ brand presence by participating in open-source events, talks, workshops, and collaborative BUIDLathon spaces. Our objective extends beyond brand recognition; we plan to conduct on-the-ground recruiting, tracking onboards through a free mint, and encouraging submissions to a token-gated Prop House Round. This strategic approach aligns with our goal of fostering developer participation and expanding the Lil Nouns Ecosystem within the dynamic ETHDenver community.

Onboarding Funnel Steps for ETH Denver:

Step 1: Introduction at ETH Denver Activity: English & Bixbite attend ETH Denver, engage with builders, and distribute Lil Nouns merchandise. Objective: Encourage builders to join the Lil Nouns Discord community, in particular the Lil Coding Class channel.

Step 2: Lil Dev Pass Minting Activity: While engaging with builders at ETH Denver we will pass out a mini brochure (similar to what Nouns Fair does at ETH Global events) which describes our ‘bounties’ via Prop House. Participants interested in the Prop House round must mint a Lil Dev Pass as the round will be token gated. It will be a free mint, featuring cute art & Zora protocol rewards will go to Lil Nouns Treasury. Objective: Facilitate entry into the Prop House Mandated Dev Round, track mints to Prop House submission rate

Step 3: Discord Engagement and Education Activity: Engage with builders on Discord, answering queries and providing information about the upcoming Prop House round & also encourage participation in Coding Club sessions. Objective: Educate builders about the upcoming Prop House round, emphasizing the 5 ETH prize split between two rounds.

Step 4: Prop House Round Launch Activity: Initiate the Prop House Mandated Dev Round one week post-ETH Denver, allowing participants to settle in, join Discord, and refine their proposals. I believe the rounds should mirror Nouns Fair initiatives at ETH Global - one bounty for utilizing Lil Nouns in their projects UI/UX and one bounty for a Public Good. Objective: Create a token-gated entry system, ensuring participants hold a Lil Dev Pass to submit proposals.

Step 5: Proposal Submission and Voting Activity: Builders submit proposals for the Prop House Round, and Lil Nouns holders vote on the submissions. Objective: Determine the winners of the rounds who will receive the prizes.

Conclusion: This onboarding funnel is designed to seamlessly guide builders from initial engagement at ETH Denver to active participation in the Lil Nouns ecosystem, testing the effectiveness of a token gated 5 ETH prize incentive for proposal submission within the Prop House framework. Lil Nouns also has not run a Prop House round in over 4 months, with our last round being a success onboarding Cyber Shakti & the Lens community along with discovering Lil Bean. Lets see who we discover in this round!

The Ask: 7eth to recruit developers into the Lil Nouns ecosystem and fund two mandated Novel Tech Prop House rounds. This proposal will have the following deliverables:

• Token gated Prop House round - 5eth in prizes for the (3eth for Public Good 2eth for UI/UX integration similar to what Nouns Fair does at ETH Global)
• Merchandise to pass out (t-shirts with Lil Dev design, Noggles & pins from Klim and Prop House Brochure)
• Bixbite will be a panel speaker at the Ordinals Denver night to proliferate Lil Nouns and onboard & inform builders about our Prop House Round.This is great for cross chain proliferation and educates the Ordinals community on the benefits of a DAO.
• Travel & Accommodation for Bixbite & English (Flights & AirBNB)
• In talks with Peter from Nouns eSports to see how we can integrate Lil Nouns into the Nouns side events, but I will be there proliferating & onboarding.

Team:

• Bixbite: I’m passionate about onboarding Developers into the Lil Nouns ecosystem. Currently involved in weekly Coding Club sessions with Mulf & SQX and working on Nouns Fair 2024 proposal with Mono & Lex. I love onboarding people at irl events and for my last proposal Lil Nouns x NFT Melbourne I was able to onboard 12 people which 4 of them went on to create Lil Nouns content for the Nouns x Everyone video contest.
• English: Co-Host of TLNS and active Web3 community member. English has the connections to get us in front of people of influence in the Ethereum & Ordinals community, which is great for cross chain proliferation. Cardno will also be at ETH Denver which will allow us to do another irl show of TLNS.

ROI To The DAO: I love stats & data and believe it is important that I can show the DAO a direct ROI from this proposal. I will be collecting data via Lil Dev Pass mints, ETH returned to the DAO from Zora Protocol Rewards, new Discord onboards, and proposal submissions to the token gated Prop House round. I will provide a report to the DAO one week after the Prop House round ends.
