⌐◨-◨ Lil Nouns take over Art Basel!

tl:dr: Host an all day event during Art Basel Miami, bringing together nounsfolk throughout the ecosystem and providing a space to learn about Lil Nouns/Nouns.

IRL activations are one of the best ways to bring together a community and to introduce those outside the community to our ecosystem. We propose to host an all day nounish event during Art Basel Miami on Thursday, December 7 at Hodler Gallery with Lil Nouns as the primary sponsor.

Hodler Gallery is an NFT/digital art space with 9 screens and open event/lounge space. This same space was used for the Nouniversary event as seen in the tweets below.

For this event, Lil Nouns art and branding will be will be prominently displayed on the doors & windows of the venue as well as 1/2 of the screens, with 4 reserved for co-sponsors. This prop would sponsor the venue rental as well as provide funds for creating signage and swag for the event.

The event will be free to attendees with an RSVP via Lu.ma and early access to the invitation for Lil Nouns holders. Additionally, Lil Nouns holders who RSVP for the event will have a swag bag waiting for them.

Ideally, this event will appeal to those already involved in the Nouns ecosystem as well as providing an opportunity for those who want to build with Lil Nouns/Nouns to ask questions and learn more.

Tentative Event Plan:

10 am to Noon: Bagels & Builders meetup for Lil Nouns and other nounish DAOs, as well as Farcaster builders.

12:30 pm: “Building with Nouns” Lunch & Learn about Lil Nouns, Nouns and Nounish DAOs (panel - more info to come)

3 pm: possible prop house live – in discussion – or other panel discussion

6 - 9 pm: PizzaDAO happy hour

The space will be open as a co-working/meet-up space throughout the day, with streams and spaces of the panels and interviews with guests. (tenative: Aubtoshi/OTG may stream from the location and depending on timing of Noun O’ Clock, we will also go live on spaces at that time.)

We will be seeking 2-4 other sponsors to round out the funding needed for food & beverage. We’ll be updating about this event as we finalize plans but we wanted to get this prop up asap to secure the venue and get this event on calendars.

This event provides a great opportunity to bring together Lil Nouners/Nouners as well as to proliferate outward to other communities as the NFT/DAO space takes over Miami!
