Current Program

For those who do not know, the Perpetual POAP Program is a program set up by Lil Nouns to provide custom artwork to event managers; to this point in time mostly TWTR Spaces:

• The Lil Nouns Show
• Prop Culture
• Let’s Prop About It (mothballed for now)

The setup is a queue that artists, ANY artist can come through and request an opportunity to provide thier spin and showcase their talent.

We had been paying out .03 per POAP on a run of 4. so artist payout was .12 total. split paid at 1st and 3rd POAP produced. The events have not scaled while the artist queue has: Due to this and in the spirit of reaching more we have lowered the amount produced per turn to 2 POAPs and are looking at branching out into other media engagements. (Banners, Flyers, Flags, T- Shirts, etc etc…) : THIS IS THE PURPOSE TO THIS MVP : mass sustainability

Proposed Expansion As stated above, EVENTS HAVE NOT SCALED… why?

• lack of advertising among the Lil Nouns DAO community of availability?
• Not needed due to no new events?
• Not needed due to DIY is enough?

This proposal suggests a little of everything in totality, however if we can set up a system that makes cross DAO usage of this as a media on demand marketing arm for the ecosystem, there will be a lot of spaces and events and ideas globally to drive demand for the artists to align with event managers in need of fresh catchy graphics.

THIS is specifically to see if we can get the current program with some small tweaks of increased usage to also become a smoother gather and distribution. while it has not been an issue, there are many areas where automation makes sense and can streamline.

• Should this MVP go well the goal would be to bring this to Larger Nouns DAO on chain to get funding for a finished ecosystem wide project.

Experimentation

The best way I can show the metrics that were created is the data collected during the inaugural @airdropoooor program. (run out of same wallet as PPP by sqx.pcc.eth)

• 63 wallets had collected 3 or more POAPs and were airdropped Noggles, All The Way Down
• 2155 Total POAPs collected
• 1660 Unique wallets
• 1515 Single POAP collectors
• Multi-POAP collectors

WHY IS THIS NEEDED

Many DAOS are running on a shoe string budget… which is GOOD!

Small, fun, exciting things like this are many times just out of reach. The proliferation is not only nounish in the support it provides to the artist community, but also creates POAPS / Media as a public good. WE COULD ALMOST seek the next step at builder DAO as well.

Are there pitfalls in this program if it were to go live and the potential to manipulate the usage and payout… yes! This Proposal and MVP are looking into this to provide solutions.
