Given the bear market, it’s more important than ever to be spreading the word about Lil Nouns, while being conservative with our treasury.

That’s why I’ve included three components to this Proposal:

1. Continuation of writing the Weekly Newsletter 2. Adding Weekly Twitter threads 3. 30% pay decrease from last proposal that passed

Previous Proposals:

• Proposal 66 → Passed (For: 1,030; Against: 0; Abstained: 9)
• Proposal 83 and Proposal 48 were also put on chain but did not hit quorum

The purpose of the newsletter is to curate, synthesize, summarize, and educate people—both internal and external to the Lil Nouns DAO—on all things (Lil) Nounish happening in our community each week. We share stories of builders, props, and conversations across the Lil Nouniverse, so that readers don’t miss each week’s biggest events.

The Lil Nouns Weekly Newsletter has shipped every week for the past 31 weeks, without fail 🫡

• 257 subscribers
• 12% average month-over-month growth
• 59% average open rate
• 5,100+ page views to the Newsletter
• 368 Twitter followers: Lil Nouns News
• 8,200+ Impressions on Twitter since starting threads last month

What goes into a great weekly newsletter?

• Curate information happening in Lil Nouns DAO (succinct but cohesive)
• Ensure high engagement on Proposals and other votes
• Synthesize important information across the ecosystem
• Recap past events, and make community members aware of upcoming events
• Proliferate the Noun meme to members outside of the DAO (this is where Twitter threads come in)

Funds Requested

Since we are in a bear market—and thanks to the example of Lil Al and others who have roles that require recurring pay—I am choosing to decrease my ask.

Previously, the DAO paid 1 ETH per week (see: Prop 66 for the period of Sept, Oct, Nov). I am decreasing my ask by 30%, down to .7 ETH per week.

• Total: 11.9 ETH (.7 ETH/episode x 17 Weeks)
• Period: December-March (retro for 4 Sundays in Dec + 5 Sundays in Jan + 4 Sundays in Feb + 4 Sundays in Mar)
