Purpose

Gather public facing information about Lil Nouns and present it in a nounish, informative, and exciting manner using a variety of media; writing, visual, audio, or a combination.

Description

In light of current DAO needs to produce content in all its forms (video, audio, written or any combination), it is time to setup Content Pod. Content Pod will be responsible for creating public facing content by taking requests and information from various Lil Nouns’ touchpoints: discord, website, social media.

The pod focuses on retaining talent through open scope work, while making sure the DAO’s content needs are being met by requesting a list of deliverables and using bounties to supplement ongoing efforts by active contributors.

Components, Processes, and Tools

Rationale

The structure allows for open scope collaboration to give active contributors creative freedom while supplementing Lil Nouns’ content needs by using requests and bounties.

• Operations will primarily take place in Lil Nouns Discord and led by Brook. In addition, a simple website, and a social media account will be its public-facing touchpoint.
• Core work vs one-off
  • Active contributors will be elected into the pod and they outline their deliverables
  • One-off contributors will collaborate on scope or work on bounties
• Funds will be properly documented and communicated with Lil Nouns community.

Content Pod Core Contributor

motiondesign, who is one of our active community members will be one of Content Pod’s core contributors. He has always been interested in coordination; from coordinating undergraduates and graduate students, building out an online resource that is used to date for helping undergraduates find opportunities to learn in the medical field, to running a program within a 501c3 for years while completing two undergraduate degrees and working two jobs. Here is an overview of his scope:

• Gather requirements
• Define scope based on requirements
• Build a team of content creators to work on defined scope

Pod Operations Lead

Brook will be leading the operations for Content Pod.

Brook is an active contributing member in Lil Nouns whose vested interest in coordination of work has led him to his recent work conceptualizing Data Pod. In this presentation deck, he was able to deconstruct Data Pod, and reconstruct it in a way that facilitates builders to do the thing they are good at – building. He takes insights from the deck to facilitate operations in Content Pod. Here is an overview of operations scope:

• Coordinating the selection of active contributors who will receive Open Scope for more creative freedom
• Coordinating requirement setting meetings, and brainstorming sessions
• Surfacing and communicating DAO needs to Content Pod and vice-versa
• Establish and maintain communication inside the DAO and out as written above
