Problem Statement

Africa’s blockchain ecosystem is expanding rapidly, yet the stories, builders, and cultural moments shaping it remain largely undocumented.

Key Issues:

•Lack of proper documentation for builders, products, and event activities

•Limited engaging and interactive educational materials at events

•Minimal Nouns visibility across African blockchain communities

Solution

The tour addresses these gaps by capturing events through fun, high-quality interviews, distributing playful Nouns-themed crypto quiz cards, and preserving all content on-chain through published articles and NFT-minted videos.

The quiz cards will be custom-designed by Play2Learn Games, a team focused on gamified education and interactive learning. Each card features engaging, easy-to-understand questions about cryptocurrencies, DAOs, and core blockchain concepts, designed to turn interviews into participatory learning experiences rather than passive content.

During events, attendees can test their knowledge while engaging with speakers, and five newcomers at each stop will receive a full set of quiz cards to take home, extending the learning beyond the event itself. This approach strengthens grassroots crypto education, expands Nouns visibility in a playful and accessible way, and ensures African builder stories are thoughtfully documented and widely shared.

IMPACT

Africa is one of the fastest-growing crypto regions, yet its builders, events, and innovations remain largely under-documented. As someone passionate about blockchain adoption on the continent, I aim not only to document the stories of builders and users currently leveraging the technology but also to onboard new audiences by helping them understand blockchain at its most fundamental level.

This initiative goes beyond storytelling, it demonstrates that blockchain adoption isn’t just for developers, but also for anyone who wants to bring what they already love and do on-chain. By preserving the experiences of crypto-native builders and users, we showcase how blockchain can support culture preservation, creativity, and community innovation.

Through a combination of media coverage, on-chain documentation, and playful educational materials like Nouns-themed quiz cards, this tour creates a lasting cultural and educational impact. Each event becomes an opportunity to engage, teach, and celebrate African innovation, while amplifying Nouns culture across new communities and ensuring that these stories are permanently recorded on-chain.

This proposal represents a second attempt at bringing this vision to life, following careful reflection and adjustments made to improve feasibility and impact. As part of this refinement, I’ve streamlined the tour plan by removing South Africa from the route, which was one of the most cost-intensive destinations, allowing the project to better align with available resources while maintaining its core mission and reach.

This revised approach strengthens the likelihood of executing this goal in 2026, ensuring the tour remains intentional, sustainable, and focused on delivering meaningful value to the ecosystem.
