Reflection

We’ve gone back to the drawing board, reflecting on how we can bring value back to Headline DAO while tapping into what Nouns DAO is searching for. We believe we’ve landed on a solution: ⌐◨-◨news will proliferate the Nouns ecosystem by amplifying its voice across Twitter, Instagram, TikTok, and Farcaster. By inviting proposers to join Headline DAO through a token-driven feature program, we hope to start this flywheel.

Brief:

We’re proposing 3 ETH to power a 3-month social media runway for ⌐◨-◨news, focusing on Twitter, Instagram, TikTok, and Farcaster. Our mission is to showcase Nouns ecosystem projects, people, and potential. Having worked in socials, marketing, and branding, we’ve seen countless proposals lose steam post-delivery due to the lack of an official presence. This is our proving ground, a chance to change that and demonstrate Headline DAO’s value within the ecosystem. For a small fee, proposers can buy Headline DAO tokens to have their proposals featured, driving revenue back to our DAO while amplifying their efforts. ♻️

Our Goals:

Prove Headline DAO’s effectiveness to Nouns DAO through a high-impact, 3-month trial. Onboard proposers into Headline DAO via token purchases, sparking momentum. Build a lively, official presence that draws in and retains new community members. Why Headline DAO? Why Now? Headline DAO was born to amplify the Nouns ecosystem, and this pivot reflects what we’ve heard: a need for clarity and connection. Many newcomers don’t jump in right away, they watch social media to get a feel for the space before engaging. We absolutely need someone managing these channels to build credibility and support hardworking proposals. By focusing on Twitter, Instagram, TikTok, and Farcaster, we’ll meet people where they are. This 3-month trial lets us show the ecosystem what we can do, onboarding through token-driven features and proving our model works.
