Compound

Per the DAO’s initiative to decentralize hosting of the Compound Protocol frontend website. A decentralized version has been developed along with the means for anyone to:

1. Host it locally on their device (or a server)
2. Point a web domain at their instance where others can access the instance they are hosting

The frontend code has been hashed in order to protect users running the frontend on their computers. To participate a user:

1. Downloads “Compound Deploy”
2. Downloads the most recent version of the Compound website code
3. Opens “Compound Deploy” on their device and chooses the website code location
4. “Compound Deploy” computes the website Hash and compares it to the user provided compound dao approved hashes
5. If they don’t match, the deployer will not build the website.

This ensures that an end user only runs an official version of the site. With that explanation, the initial hash of the first published Beta version of the site is as follows.
