Voting Power for WAGDIERC20
– Abstract – Let’s add support for WAGDIE ERC20 in snapshot votes.
– Motivation – Community members who send their WAGDIE NFTs to the community-run NFTX Pool currently lose voting power in Snapshot votes when doing so, despite the practice providing a general community utility.
Therefore, providing voting rights to WAGDIERC20 holders (the token used for the NFTX Pool exchange) would more accurately reflect the proportional holdings of Snapshot vote participants.
– Rationale – Since WAGDIERC20 is redeemable for WAGDIE NFTs from the NFTX Pool, it should keep the same voting power as a staked or unstaked WAGDIE NFT (1 or 2 votes per).
– Steps to Implement & Specifications – The Keepers will need to update the voting strategies for decide.fateofwagdie.com to include reflection of the voters’ WAGDIERC20 balance.
