My name is Crystal Street I would like to become a part of the Unlock Protocol UDT Grant Committee. I believe that I am qualified for this position because I meet the minimum criteria as outlined in the “Grant Committee Applicant Guide” and in addition to that these following reasons.

• Was the community manager for Unlock from July 2021-March 2022
• Am an active user and promoter of the procotol
• Am always connecting teams with Unlock when I see a natural fit for their project

8. Bio: Crystal Street is a community builder, an academic and former freelance photojournalist and editorial/commercial multimedia producer. Her past clients included Whole Foods Market, Nissan North America, Junior Achievement, Special Olympics and many others. Her editorial work won multiple national awards including Hearst, CPOY, BoP, NCPPA and the Class of 1938 Fellowship at UNC Chapel Hill. Crystal began working professionally in crypto in 2017 as a communications director and community manager. She’s the former community manager at Unlock Protocol and an active NFT artist with a handful of collectors of her documentary NFTs. She is a founding member of JournoDAO, an active contributor at WGMI DAO and a voting member of Unlock Protocol’s DAO. She’s also a participant or former contributor to Mirror, DiamondDAO, ImpactDAO Media, Re-Public, All for Climate and DoinGud. She’s currently a Marvin Naiman Scholar at Naropa University studying Tantric Yoga and Buddhism.
9. During my time at Unlock, I participated in many grantee conversations, helped support the grantees when needed and also interviewed some community members who were considering applying. I love the Unlock crew and they still have a spot in my heart even though I’m no longer on the team. I wear my Unlock hoody every morning while I walk my dog. ;)
