Open Giveaway Strategy to Voting
It was brought up in Discord that while the DAO “might” mint NFT Worlds Genesis Avatars, they would potentially give some or all of them away to DAO holders.
This raises a larger question of how giveaways are utilized. Giveaways can be an important tool in cultivating interest in a particular project, and charity is also a relevant factor that I value. However the DAO’s first responsibility is to maintaining the stability and steady growth of the the DAO. Therefore I argue that giveaways should be done strategically, and through the DAO voting system that we have already established. In short, I believe we deserve to have a say in the strategy behind giveaways, as different approaches affect the long-term health of the DAO.
