There has already been a proposal for Illuvium land, which was well received. But it didn’t really go into the detail of what type of land the DAO should aim for.

In terms of revenue, 5% of all in game revenues will go to land holders Illuvium land is also the land (& fuel provider) for all Illuvium studio games in the future - that’s worth remembering.

5 tiers of land: There are five tiers of Illuvium land. Higher tiers represent increasing rarity and higher fuel generation. Tier 3 and 4 plots also feature rare landmarks that significantly boost output. Tier 5 plots feature legendary Arenas that host official Illuvium eSports events. Sell the naming rights to your stadium, collect tournament fees, and earn from sponsorship deals.

Land Value Calculator Not all land is created equal. The combination of resources affect the production. Scoriox recently made a video where he explains his Google Sheets spreadsheet Illuvium Land calculator. The DAO should utilise this before purchasing any land, to ensure the land is resource production optimised.

Proposal: Spend up to 20 ETH acquiring Illuvium Land. Aiming for a Megacity makes sense for a DAO, as we will be able to maximise production. The best place to find one is probably on the Illuvium Discord Marketplace (this is where a lot of deals are cut). Occasionally you get very good deals popping up. Someone paper handed one for 13 ETH the other day. But if we can’t get a Megacity, we should probably look for undervalued Tier 3 and Tier 4 land. If this new proposal gets approved, I suggest the DAO gets someone to find good deals, that can be justified against floor price and evaluated using the above mentioned calculator. The DAO will need to be able to act quickly to grab the best land, as and when it comes to market.

If and when the DAO buys the land, we will have to manage it to optimise fuel production, and sell the fuel on the open market. We either do this internally, or by getting someone to manage the land for a % of profits.
