As a DAO, initiatives such as Discord-specific activities, giveaways, and hirings will need to be proposed, voted on, and approved by the DAO. However, in order to execute these initiatives it would be beneficial and more effective to have a group of community-elected members coordinating with the Team leading those efforts. I, therefore propose the creation of the LandDao Community Board. Through this entity, the community will pass on discord initiatives with DAO approval so they may be executed upon.

The Community Board would be comprised of 8 members; 4 Team Members selected by the team and 4 Discord Members selected from the community. *This is an unpaid position.

Board Responsibilities The Community Board will be responsible for the following:

Executing community and discord-related initiatives that have successfully been approved by the DAO. *Initiatives requiring any Funds from the DAO treasury wallet will need Treasury Board approval as well.
Identifying areas of improvement and submitting proposals for DAO Voting Creating, submitting, and orchestrating community events, giveaways, and other discord-related activities approved through DAO voting

If Proposal for Community Board is approved, the Team will post an #Announcement inviting members of the community to nominate themselves or other community members to fill the 4 Community Member Positions. There will be a 5-day period to submit nominations. After the submission deadline has passed the Team will then select 10 members of the community who received the greatest number of nominations and submit a proposal for each member for DAO voting. The 4 members with the highest votes will be elected to the Community Board and be given the Discord Role of Community Board Member.

In the event a community-elected Board Member must step down the remaining board members will nominate and submit replacement board member for DAO voting
