Dear LanDAO fam, I have been holder of this interesting project since mostly the early days, and i have follow the progress so far. My experience in the finance / investment industry tell me that it’s time for us to start generating “alpha” in our investments

Context & Rationale:

My current role has allowed me to dig deeper into the MetaFi (Finance in the Metaverse) industry and by so I had learnt that Metaverse Assets can serve not only as a nice piece of metaverse land where we can contruct (a non productive asset) but also a productive one, by renting the lands to worldwide brands, nft projects, galleries or by renting to gaming guilds. In both cases, receiving “alpha” in for of rent payments. I had talked with some people in the renting business and heard a landlord can make +10K US$ for renting a piece of land for a one week event

Moreover, this assets can serve as collateral to take crypto loans in different Meta DeFi projects

Those are opportunities I believe we as a DAO should analyze / take advantage so we can not only rely in the value increase our DAO vault by the increase of the NFT assets we hodl. Given the wild nature of the NFT sector, this can be a challenging taks.

Proposal:

Consider, analyze and execute accordingly the different / alternatives monetizatiion strategies we can perform to generate yield in our assets

This proposal came together with the following proposal (Creation of the NFT Portfolio Manager Positions) as this will be the person I suggest can take charge of this, also submitted for snapshot vote
