This proposal is a request to support a musical event titled Menotti’s Afterdark (with the park), featuring Juno Award winner TEEN DAZE. This evening of sauce, selections, music, coffee, and community, featuring thoughtfully curated sounds and selections, aims to align with The Park DAO’s mission to support music onchain through creation, curation, and collection.
Context/Issue
As a DAO committed to fostering the growth of music and community, it is essential that we actively create and support events IRL that bring together artists, creators, and DAO to DAO enthusiasts. This proposal aims to do just that by creating a space for Teen Daze, a well-recognized and talented artist and friend, to share their craft and provide an engaging and memorable experience for our community. Sauce, Selections, Sacred Moments, and fun.
The Ask
We are asking for funding to support the organization and execution of “Menotti’s Afterdark with The Park,” an event planned for Friday, June 16, 2023. The event will run from 7:30 pm to 10:30 pm and will feature TEEN DAZE, along with beverages, bites, and other attractions. The total amount requested is .44 ETH.
Alignment with DAO’s Mission/Vision
This event aligns with the DAO’s mission and values by supporting music onchain, specifically through the curation and presentation of a live event. Moreover, it seeks to proliferate the “Happy Friday” meme by making Fridays at The Park a recurring, anticipated occurrence for the community, bringing together music and coffee enthusiasts under one umbrella.
Accountability
The funds requested will go towards SAUCE and SOUND, moments, and providing beverages and bites for our token holders, supporting with Minor Figures and friends. Success will be determined by the successful execution of the event and positive feedback from attendees, as well as measurable increases in DAO community engagement and onchain activity. Hoping to mint and airdrop something for all via new Zora Chain
