On 03/03/2024 Trevor S Traynor and David T Phung of the Park DAO will be on their way to the BIG APPLE to do a pop-up at an existing Newsstand on 42nd and Madison during NFTNYC.

The Pop-up will include a T2 x Park mint with physical Friday Press newsprint as proof of visit and the words “Happy Friday” to reveal IRL Minting access.

Newsstand Collection Background: The NEWSSTANDS collection consists of 100 photographs from 20 cities globally. The project is described as web0 kiosks, shot on web2, minted on web3 & this NYC pop-up will be the 3rd installment of the URL to IRL experience following its premiere in LA and last month’s ETHDenver collaboration with Errorgardener at Redeemer Pizza!

Request: This is a request for 1.111eth from The Park DAO treasury to help fund the overall production.

Funding from The Park will go towards our production goal of 2.222 ETH, specifically towards, travel, compensation for Kirit’s Newsstand use, & re-layout/print of the “Friday Press’ ’ Pressing 00I. an edition of 150, 12 page tabloid size newsprint featuring the content from the ETHDenver “Friday Press” ED 01 prototype as well as additional features.

This project will be produced by Trevor S Traynor and David T Phung with a side of Happy Coffee.
