This proposal’s expectation is to produce an implementation to restore Sushi’s governance forum.

Background

For the first time in Sushi’s history, an operations team has removed all trace and record of Sushi’s governance discussions since its inception.

The Sushi forum (https://forum.sushi.com/) has simply been taken down. The team claim this is for migration to a new format, a fact that in itself raises many questions about both the technical ineptitude of such actions and the disregard for the governance role of the DAO. 24 hours prior to the forums removal it was put on read only.

Timing

In the previous weeks there was a community effort to restore healthy governance, oversight and transparency to Sushi DAO.

The reaction to which has been the locking of proposal threads, deleting of tough questions and overzealous suspension of DAO community members asking these questions. The timing of this sudden migration within this context is extremely suspicious.

Negligence

It is grossly negligent of the operations team to leave a governance void within the DAO even if temporary.

It raises questions about the technical management and competency of the operations team.

Action required:

Immediately restore Sushi’s governance forum.
