Increase COIL staking APR
Summary: Let’s talk about something important — inflation. In the current state of the market our COIL single-staking APR is not enough. The initial 100% APR were a temporary solution of small-inflation and was basically a joke compared to all other OHM-like DAOs. We need to stop this disgrace and get to serious levels of inflation.
Rationale: We propose to increase the COIL single-staking APR from the current rate of 100% to 271.828% for the time being. This increase will apply to all users who are currently staking COIL and those who will stake in the future The APR is subject to change on the future by decision of the community.
The increased APR will help incentivize new users to join our DAO and it’s also just a good way to have more COILs for everyone. It’s a must-do for us to sustain a high level of POL too. Higher APR will help us remain competitive in the market, which will benefit the DAO in the long run.
