Shall we pay Jonathan half of what the DAO made in the 2023 fiscal year so far and start giving him half of what each song earns
As discussed on Discord, I am having trouble paying my bills!
It’s interesting because the idea of giving the DAO 100% of the revenue from the songs was born of the hope that my original song a day drop would sell out, and I’d be set financially, thereby making it possible for the DAO to keep it all. So while the drop did indeed sell out, with all that has happened in the last two years, my family is now as financially precarious as ever, so I’m really hoping we can pass this amendment!
The DAO’s fiscal year begins on November 1st, and from that day until now we’ve made 24 eth. So half would be 12.
The next step would be to use the subgraph stuff that Alan is setting up to automatically send me half of what each song makes each day.
If eth were ever to recover, it would most certainly be possible to change this back, but until then, I think this can work.
