Abstract

WIW Protocol will serve as the proposer of the NFT Legendary Trader Badge.

The purpose of this SIP is to accept this Badge as one of the badges curated through the governance process and to configure its attributes.

The Sismo Community is expected to accept this deployment if it complies with the ZK Badge Curation Guidelines and Attributes Assessment Framework.

Motivation

About WIW Protocol

WIW Protocol is a privacy-preserving on-chain identity protocol that curates openly accessible Web3 user reputations. WIW could be used in many scenarios including but not limited to personal branding, web3 social activities, go-to-market strategies, airdrop, and community management. As an identity protocol, WIW serves the full life cycle of web3 identity generation and authorization.

Collaborating with SISMO by using their ZK technology on the privacy layer for identity would have the users in control of their privacy and data ownership. WIW is now one of the data providers for SISMO, and users can now create their SISMO ZK Badges by selecting data sources from WIW’s comprehensive badge library (over 35,000 WIW Badges).

About the WIW Protocol NFT Legendary Trader Badge

NFT degens, the most active and influential group of people in Crypto, are known for their high levels of activity and success in trading. People tend to learn from the elites’ NFT Trading records and use their actions as signals. In this case, having the NFT Legendary Trader Badge can significantly boost degens’ credentials and increase the community’s attention to degens’ opinions and analytics. People may also back up their degen status in a privacy-preserving way, for example, by anonymously expressing their views, and having the statement backed by identity badges, while not having their public figure affected.

This NFT Legendary Trader Badge is exclusively available to NFT traders who have achieved realized profits of over 100 ETH from NFT trades on Ethereum and will be updated daily. It’s the perfect way to flex degens’ NFT trading skills without revealing personal addresses.

ZK Badge Attributes

This section provides a high-level assessment (according to ZK Badge Attributes Assessment Framework) of the level of privacy, trustlessness, and Sybil resistance of the ZK Badge candidate for curation.

Privacy

Very High

This ZK Badge uses the private Hydra-S1 attester. Its anonymity set is composed of 6268 addresses on Jan. 3rd, 2023.

Trustlessness

Medium

The WIW team is responsible for generating the eligible address set and making the snapshot on 12/03/2022. WIW generates the group list according to the criteria in the description (The address should have a realized profit for ≥ 100 ETH from NFT Tradings only, not including OTCs or transfers). All the addresses were submitted to IPFS for public audit.

Sybil Resistance Levels

High

This badge represents supreme trading skills in NFT Trading and is not very likely to be reproduced in a large amount. Creating fake trading records between addresses would result in either friction in trading or losing the eligibility of the original account.
