Change access restriction imposed on Silo App
You are voting to change who can access the Silo lending app.
You can vote on one of 3 options: Choice 1: Keep geo restriction as it is today Choice 2: Keep geo restriction but allow US users to use Silo app Choice 3: Allow all users to use Silo app including users of sanctioned jurisdictions
Proposal Today users of the following regions cannot use the Silo lending app: The United States of America, Crimea, Iran, North Korea, Cuba, Syria, and Eritrea.
A proposal was initially posted in the governance forum to remove all jurisdictions from the geo-blocking implemented on the Silo lending app.
A community member explained why SiloDAO should restrict sanctioned jurisdictions: Crimea, Iran, North Korea, Cuba, Syria, and Eritrea.
Other members suggested allowing all users, regardless of where they come from, to access the lending app.
This snapshot proposal reflects all opinions shared in the DAO’s official channels.
