Fund Nouns Clients Development

tl;dr:

Requesting 100 ETH to fund 4 teams 25 ETH each via a a nouner voted Prop House Round to fund Nouns Client development.

Idea

Developing multiple clients to interact with the Nouns protocol is desirable for various reasons:

• Unexplored design space
• Removes single point of failure
• Decreases reliance on any one vendor, platform and/or technology

Possible directions teams have expressed in taking development:

• Bidder focused: client where the only focus is the bidder’s experience.
• Audience focused: client where the priority are those who are watching the auction (read: social)
• Post-auction focus: build FOMO on steroids.

Execution

Teams have already expressed interest via twitter. Conversation around how this evolves is ongoing in the #nouns-clients channel. The format as it stands today (07/01) is as follows:

• Fund 4 teams @ 25 ETH via a Prop House Round (nouner vote)
• Regroup 1 month after funding to see progress the teams have made
• Either host a bigger round or ask team to directly propose to the DAO for more funding
