Outcome If Positive

• Protocol development funding remains 5% of RPL inflation.
• pDAO budget expense of 52,079.200 RPL will be executed to cover protocol development from 2024-10-25 until 2025-10-24.

Outcome If Negative

• The pDAO budget expense will not be executed.
• Feedback will be gathered to understand why it was negative and a new vote raised at a later time.

Rationale

RPIP-37 was passed in February 2024 to ensure the long-term sustainability and continued innovation of the Rocket Pool protocol. That RPIP lays out the high-level roles, responsibilities, processes, and funding for core protocol development.

One of the items is that “Protocol development funding is initially set to 5% of RPL inflation.” This vote is to continue that level of payment to the Core Development Team through 2025-10-24.
