[1] REtoken DAO｜A Little Backstory

In Apr-2021 YonksTEAM (Yonks & MrsYonks) started going down crypto “rabbit holes”. As serial entrepreneurs and cooperative fans they quickly discovered the opportunity surrounding DAOs and tokenized real estate. This lead to the formation of REtoken DAO | The Real Estate DAO in Jun-2021 and formally organized as a Wyoming DAO LLC on 26Jul2021 (link to X post).

Our very first proposal as a DAO, RIP-1 | Genesis Proposal (Season 0), was submitted on 06Sep2021. In that proposal, Mission item #4 was:

Become the most prominent and globally recognized Real Estate Tokenization / Security Token brand.

We absolutely plan to do exactly this with pToken™.

[2] Why reboot?

Very simple. There is more opportunity surrounding tokenized assets than real estate.

Our securities licensed professionals who promote pToken™ assets to their networks via private placements (coming 🔜).

Our private cooperative exchange (secondary market) where cooperative members can list their pToken™ assets (coming 🔜 | 6/26/26).

[4] Required Steps to Reboot

1. Rebrand priority social media (X , LinkedIn, YouTube, Snapshot portal)
2. TDP (Treasury Distribution Proposal) to reimburse YonksTEAM from existing treasury assets for bootstrapping expenses
3. Unwind REtoken DAO LLC (a Wyoming DAO LLC)
   • Close any existing bank accounts
   • Do not renew entity (entities in Wyoming automatically unwind with non-renewal)
   • Transition any existing IP that intend to keep for legacy purposes to existing accounts (web domains, retokendao.eth <?>)
4. Establish pToken Assets as a Wyoming UNA / DUNA (after we have 100 cooperative members)
5. Anything else necessary that may be overlooked within these steps to complete a successful org wind down / transition / reboot.

[5] Future Proposal: exchange $RETOKEN ⇒ pToken™ assets

• We want to reward our initial $RETOKEN contributors. We believe that the preliminary “sweat equity” tokenomics we established should be honored through this reboot process.
• An example of where we have already had tokenomics conversations surrounding 🏦 myIRA.fund. pToken™ Assets is positioned to receive $MYIRA tokens if voted upon by cooperative members in a future tokenomics proposal. (IE: 1:1 … $RETOKEN ⇒ $MYIRA).
