Summary In order for Rari Capital to succeed, we need to do everything we can to get both the Rari Capital Protocol and RGT in people’s minds every single day. Although our code is extremely important, we must ensure that our incentives are aligned with the community. Whether it is tutorials, podcasts, interviews, graphic design, AMAs, literally anything, Rari Capital needs to be in a position to compensate the individuals that go out of their ways each day to promote our protocol. These funds will be used transparently, with initiatives announced and discussed with the community prior to occurring. We will also ensure that the wallet address holding the RGT can easily be found by community members who want to look and make sure we are only using what was announced and discussed. This will provide a safe checks and balances system that can hold Rari Core accountable for all funds spent with this specified wallet.

Background We are in the final stages of our first ever meme contest. This contest brought over 100 submissions and hundreds of new members to our Discord. There was excitement all around and it was an amazing feeling to see all of the creativity that went into this. In total, we decided to allocate 1,000 RGT. As we continue to purse more creative contests and initiatives mentioned above, we must allocate RGT into the “Rari Capital Marketing Budget.”

Abstract I propose that we allocate 15,000 RGT from our most recent treasury purchase of 20,000 RGT. Having these funds set aside for Rari Capital Core and the community to spend on marketing efforts will significantly improve our presence on a multitude. of levels. Having this allocation of RGT set aside now will reduce the amount of future governance proposals each time and will only occur again once the marketing budget is in need of more funding.
