[PIP-8] Incentivizing Pickle Holding and Governance Reform
A proposal by the Pickle Core Devs.
This proposal addresses the concerns regarding the lack of an intrinsic reason to hold PICKLEs, the need for a more democratic governance structure, and the drawbacks of a buy and burn strategy for the PickleJars.
If this proposal is passed, the following steps will be taken:
- Allow staking of PICKLEs to earn a portion of PickleJar profits
- Roadmap towards a community-controlled treasury
- Send the bulk of PickleJar fees to the treasury
