Note: Gas Refund Epoch is equal to 66 due to legacy Gas Refund distributions pre PSP 2.0.

Transaction Details

If this proposal is approved it will perform 2 actions on each chain (Ethereum Mainnet, Optimism Mainnet and Base Mainnet):

1. Approve VLR to be used by distributor contract
2. Transfer and update merkle tree root hash a. Transfer VLR to distributor contract b. Update merkle tree root hash

Base Transactions

Currently, there is an active proposal testing whether the oSnap plugin is already enabled for Base. If the test confirms that automatic execution is supported, these transactions will be executed automatically through oSnap. Otherwise, if the feature is still not fully operational, the transactions will not be executed automatically, and we will proceed with the manual execution process for Base — following the same procedure as in the previous epoch.

Verification Tool

We’ve launched a new app that allows anyone to verify the integrity of the Refunds calculation. With this tool, you can:

• Recalculate the Merkle tree root hash using the published refunds file to ensure the data hasn’t been tampered with.
• Verify the refund data for any specific account, ensuring it matches what’s included in the distribution.
