Goal: Goal of this proposal is to hire someone in a full time role for Internal Comms.

Role Description: This role is called Internal Comms. However, it is about 1 singular thing: removing friction from members participating in the dao. This role will report to GovC.
Vision:
DAOs are massively parallel and decentralized - which increase the amount of required communication, coordination and add friction to participate (to an already difficult challenge).
The best DAOs know this and will address these by proactively identifying and removing friction, laying the groundwork for transparent & clear communication, and investing in ways to reduce “cost of participation” for members.
This will prevent members from being overwhelmed, allowing members with different levels of commitments to jump in and contribute quickly (equipping them with the right amount of coordination and context they need).
Our DAO has the potential of truly accelerating web3 and becoming a digital nation of builders. However, just like a startup - it isn’t a given, and to get there - we’ll need a layer of support for our builders to come in and take asymmetric bets in furthering our vision. At it’s best, this role would feel slightly more than an invisible layer.
Lastly, this role is about applying founder energy to enable the dao to move faster by doing what it takes to continuously reduce noise, and remove bottlenecks & friction from builders building. This will be achieved through a combination of individual contribution, enabling others, delegating & sharing responsibilities with cooperative members of the dao. In some ways, you can draw parallels to a growth role at a fast growing startup (except internally focused)
**Measuring Role Success: ** Success of this role is in increasing “Ease of Contribution to the DAO” (or DCE) for DAO members. To measure this we will measure an NPS equivalent multiple times a season.
To start, we will ask the following 3 questions 3x/season: On a scale of 1-10, how easy is it for you to contribute to the DAO? What is 1 thing the dao can work on to make it easier for you to contribute? Do you wish to contribute? S0, we will use this to create a benchmark.
S1 onwards - GovC and member in this role will determine goals for the season based on this. As we learn more about the underlying levers, some seasons may focus on sub-goals impacting this metric. These goals will be published under Committees/InternalComms/SeasonGoals on our knowledge center.
Selection of Candidate: GovC will choose the candidate from a list of volunteers that self select, current list of candidates applying for this role:

Removal of Candidate: GovC and/or individual can terminate this role based on performance/at will with 14 day notice and begin searching for the next candidate. If there is no candidate in the list, they will open this for a bid that will be open for 30 days and if no one is suitable after 30 days this OIP will be closed.
If the candidate is removed or leaves prior to the end of the season they will be paid on a prorated basis. Their replacement will be paid a prorated amount for the remainder of the season.
Duration: Start: Season 0 End: Continues indefinitely unless terminated as described above.
Compensation: Base Compensation: 280K $ORANGE/Season Performance adjustment: if DCE score 20% over previous season, add 100K $ORANGE. If 20% under of the previous season, subtract 100K $ORANGE. Reference calculations: Current Committee Comp is 55K/Season for 5-10 hours/week. Scaling this to Full Time(40 hrs): At 55K/7.5 Hrs/wk → 293K/40hrs/wk
