Full proposal here: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1MtUwoVrE-qFnwhMbqGLVH1Zk5VpRzcfN3Syld1oZAFk/edit?usp=sharing
Goal: Help DAO members get missing compensation for contributions made in Seasons 0 and 1 by not requiring them to write their own proposals.
Single Point of Contact: @RicardoG.eth
Sponsors: @cryptpal, @oparrott.eth
Description: Currently there are several DAO members who have contributed to the DAO on various projects and whose work has not yet been compensated because the work was not included in a specific proposal during Seasons 0 and 1. This proposal addresses payment for this group of individuals without having to submit individual proposals.
The DAO is working towards making compensation a more comprehensive, protocol-based process. And, as we work towards this goal, it is our responsibility to ensure that no one’s work that has benefited the DAO goes without compensation.
The proposal uses Treasury’s guidance of T-shirt sizes T-shirt Size Token Amount ($ORANGE) XS 2500 S 5000 M 15000 L 30,000 XL 55,000 XXL 75,000

Krel Co-designed & co-managed implementation of Orange DAO website consisting of Landing Page Login with wallet to prove ownership of gem using Spruce Member site with knowledge base, onboarding v0, calendar, configurable announcements, snapshot integration and more. Involved in significant discussions and decision making with various folks during a time where the DAO sentiment was to build a lot more, Grove was still becoming a thing, and we were planning to build our own DAO software.
Leigh Contributed 15+ hours to the foundational framework for the Inclusion committee for Orange. This led to the creation of the Inclusion sub-committee in S1 as part of OIP-54.
Maqq Website (same as Krel above) Treasury above and beyond. Maqq is fulfilling the role of a Treasury sub-committee member alongside being a treasury committee member. Maqq has also been involved in various projects across the DAO (e.g. L1 partnerships proposal etc) which would be considered outside of the treasury, where he shows up and makes things better!
Mr Memes Worked on a security exploit with charter signing. 3 wks of full time engineering effort.
Praful PMing & some backend work on security exploit project with charter signing.
Roland Assisted with early due-diligence & data cleanup in original dealflow google sheet Planned, promoted & co-hosted new-to-crypto chat with Ben OIP-15 meeting, planning, execution, and retro. Proposal was passed, however decided that it didn’t make sense to move forward (and hence the team wasn’t paid out anything)
Sarina Marketing efforts contributor (brand document, external messaging document etc.)
Benefits: Compensation for work on one-off projects, events, etc. incentivizes members to take on a more active role in the DAO, continue contributing to projects, and work on bigger projects. Compensation for work encourages members to become more active contributors/core contributors. A handful of core contributors from S0 have been absent in S1. We want to compensate members for their work in a way that also incentivizes contributions to the DAO.
Success Metrics: 5+ Orange members completing the survey to get retroactive compensation
Duration: This is a compensation OIP. It is intended to be executed as soon as it is passed.
Tokens Requested: (Treasury control) (Treasury Guidance) Treasury will directly distribute tokens following the t-shirt size compensation model.
FAQ: If this proposal covers all past work, does that mean there will be no other ways to get comp for retro work? As the charter stands today, members of the DAO are welcome to create proposals at any point to request $ORANGE. However, it would be reasonable for any member requesting comp for retro work to expect pushback from the DAO and have clear reasoning as to why the work was not included as part of this OIP.
