TL;DR

Nouns DAO Japan (NDJ) is the largest Nouns community in Japan. NDJ’s Prop House has been a cornerstone of our growth and community engagement. However, we have noticed a decline in activity since our last round, Round-10. Consequently, this issue has been concerned many of us who see the immense potential in our local community.

One Major hurdle is the language barrier. Many Prop House events are in English, limiting the participation of our largely Japanese-speaking community.

To address this gap, we would like to kindly request your financial support to re-launch and sustain our Prop House for a period of one year. We believe this will boost Nouns DAO’s brand awareness in Japan and create valuable content. We’ll also look for self-funding options during this period.

What is Nouns DAO Japan

Pokemon, Hello Kitty, Anpanman, Super Mario, Dragon Ball, One Piece, Naruto, etc… Japan is home to iconic characters and boasts a rich culture of derivative works and cosply. This cibrant creative scene serves as fertile ground for talented creators.

Nouns DAO Japan (NDJ) is the largest Nouns community in Japan with approximately 3,300 members. Various creators, mainly Japanese, participate in NDJ and enjoy creating secondary Nouns works while engaging in friendly competition.

Why should Nouns DAO invest in the Prop House of Japan

Japanese creators have uniquely blended local culture with NounsDAO’s vision, generating captivating content. However, activity has slowed since Prop House Funding ceased after Round-10.

Various communities are holding Prop House, but unfortunately, only a limited number of Japanese are able to participate in other Prop House because of their poor English skills.

It is a great loss for Nouns DAO that during this time, talented creators from the character powerhouse of Japan are leaving Nouns DAO.

Here are some of the achievements supported by NDJ’s Prop House.

Nouns National Baton Relay (Round-1)

The baton relay is actually handed over in the real world as “Noggles = Baton".　This initiative will increase loyalty to the Nouns DAO by directly connecting people who love Nouns with each other in Japan.

pNouns (Round-5)

pNouns is an experimental project that has the potential to fundamentally change the social structure with ”real NFT” and ”real DAO”. We are going to become a member of Nouns DAO, recognized ”real DAO” and propose a project to the pooled 35 million treasury.

Ethereum Navi (Round-5,6,7)

Ethereumnavi specializes in cutting-edge Crypto native NFT projects, Web3 development information such as Solidity, and other information around Ethereum. The platform features accessible articles on Nouns, significantly contributing to the project’s expansion in Japan.

UNouns (Round-6)

UNouns = Nouns doing United Nations. UNouns attempts to create community and governance that will access global issues, SDGs and create better world by utilizing treasury, that can be used by the community. By expanding the ecosystem, UNouns DAO aims to create better world with DAO and hornorable presence for Nouns.

ROI: By hosting Prop House, we will increase the engagement of talented Japanese creatives with Nouns, and this will increase the brand value of Nouns.

Sustainability: We will hold Prop House on a regular basis for 12 months to see sustainable results. After that, we will consider our own ongoing measures.

Expand community: Attract new participants to NDJ and increase credibility and awareness of Nouns DAO in Japan.

Hosting Of Prop House

• Prop house will be held every 2 months.
• Set up a reward of 0.5 ETH*5 from the funds donated.
• Giveaway NDJ PFP to the person who gets the most votes each time.
• Voting right will be POAP issued by Nouns DAO Japan once every six months.

Public Relations

• Regular space will be held daily. This space has been running for more than a year and is growing Nouns DAO Japan’s core fan base.

The Future

Nouns DAO Japan is considering next steps after receiving one year of assistance.

The first candidate is JPNouns.

Nouns holding auction & treasury system from “Japan” was adopted in Round-9. It is still in the planning stage, but it is a measure to spread the Nouns in Japan, separate from Prop house.
