Background Information: The previous DUNA Admin selection lacked a formal election process. Index and Prof were initially chosen by the Nounders and a working group, with Satori selected as a replacement after Prof could not commit. This proposal ensures a fair, open election where all Nouners can meaningfully participate.

Proposed Election Structure (Suggested by 5gram) Voting Method: Token-Weighted Approval Voting

• Each voter may approve up to 2 candidates
• Voters can split their voting weight between their selected candidates
• The top 2 candidates by total approved voting weight are the winners.
  1. First place becomes the DUNA Admin
  2. Second place becomes the DUNA Admin Reserve

Timeline (4+ weeks total)

Warming-Up Period (2 weeks)

• Candidates submit applications
• Publication of candidate statements and proposed budgets
• Community discussion during weekly spaces (minimum 2 sessions)
• Candidates share their pitches and qualifications

Voting Period (1 week)

• Off-chain voting conducted on Nouns.gg
• All Nouners have sufficient time to review candidates and cast votes
