Nouns DAO

tl;dr: fund me as a cross-DAO steward connecting builders, artists, and IRL/online activations

Note: asking for delegation of treasury-held Lil Nouns in a separate proposal (Timelock v1, no candidate option but will post for comment) - part II of II.

gm nouns ☀ I’m Lil Noun 67 / Noun 544 (60r9(0)/pipe/pip/9193/snowman - depending on where we met). I heard on a recent Nouns governance space that many/all are “bearish stewards”, so I’m submitting this as a concrete stewardship case study.

Over recent times, governance has been made from wallets I control, subsequently making me one of the most active participants across Nounish DAOs. I’ve authored and sponsored proposals across multiple Nounish DAOs, cast thousands of votes (largely with written reasoning), and worked at the intersection of governance, ritual, and culture through /noc and related initiatives.

I govern from this address and nocguild.eth (noc-focused; stats combine both). Governance at noc is basically solo now (while considering any delegate POV) and earlier collective attempts over the past two years failed not due to participation, but due to variety attenuation with influence redistributed among the same actors rather than introducing new perspectives. I refocused nocguild as a ritual promotion + outward-facing cultural surface, not an internal governance body, and I believe this is more beneficial for Nouns at this moment in time.

Relevant track record (high level)

• 80+ authored/sponsored proposals across Nouns & Lil Nouns
• Thousands of votes cast (mostly with reasoning)
• Gifted 30+ Lil Nouns & tens of thousands in Nouns/ETH/Toadz etc for games
• Distributed tens of thousands in noc grants across many countries for social impact/art/design/creative endeavours etc
• created probe.wtf: 30+ Nouns sold at auction, 15 art proposals shipped onchain
• Helped recover ~$250k for Nouns DAO in 2025 (hence Noun 911/Police meme)

I want to keep pushing outward both IRL & URL: miniapps, delegates, governance bodies, and better URL/IRL onramps for outsiders who are slowly discovering Nouns, Lil Nouns & noc. Recent experiments include: 24 Days of Trivia and the EOY Award Show.

This proposal formalizes work I’m already doing and lets me scale it meaningfully.

A recent trip to Japan (for Nounsvitational) reinforced the direction I was naturally heading, by seeing Nouns land in schools, cultural events, and iconic locations. Despite the complexity of Ethereum and blockchain, Nouns is clearly able to break through and provide meaningful experiences and recontextualize the point/power of cryptocurrency. I’d like to work more with the international community, including in Tokyo (where I believe Nouns can scale to new cultural heights), and also continue building IRL touchpoints from Costa Rica.

• Connecting DAOs, artists, patrons, technologists, and creatives
• Helping new/existing contributors engage with Nouns + governance
• Advising on proposal ideation, framing, and execution
• Supporting IRL activations and community touchpoints
• Representing Nouns culture through consistent presence + dialogue
• Amplifying Lil Nouns within Nouns and vice versa
• Documenting the entire process
• Maybe DJ for X Spaces 🎧💃🕺

Ongoing work & outputs

Through a lil noc (prop 832), I am collaborating with individuals across art, culture, events, gaming, industrial design, and developing UK university collaborations (e.g. I am a design grad from Brunel Uni in London and I think Nouns is a perfect fit for design students to pitch 3rd year placement-year projects). I’m also nearing completion of a vintage "Ice Cream Van" in Costa Rica (in reality an IRL mobile Nounish cultural node, grounded in joy and art), this is a collaboration with Lil Nouns and will become a daily roadshow spreading the Nounish word on the beach.

With additional capacity I’ll expand:

• Live streams + open community calls (TikTok/X/Zora + longer-form docs/interviews)
• IRL documentation (books/zines) + community conversations
• /noc Daily Scribe detailing Nounish happenings (850+ days of practice here)

Budget

Requesting support to buy focus, time, and continuity to work full-time Nouns in 2026: $3,200/month + $31,020 upfront = $69,420 total + Noun 911

The upfront enables runway for resources, travel/scheduling, and allows me to go all-in Nouns from day one next year - I’m open to adjustments if the DAO prefers a different structure. I’ve been a freelance designer my entire life, and have several long-term clients, but this would make Nouns my priority without worrying financially.

Optionality (non-binding)

Separately, I’m exploring additional longer-term IRL opportunities in Costa Rica (preserving land and nature, providing eco-friendly education facilities and resources) that could one day be relevant to Nouns; any such ideas would come as independent proposals. Included this note as I would love to steward IRL efforts for Nouns over in this part of the world, this is shared for transparency only and is not part of this request.

I’ve been stewarding Nouns culture through action for a long time. This aligns incentives so I can do that work more fully, openly, and sustainably.
