What is the problem or frustration you want to solve using this grant?

DAOs don’t have enough transparency on how funds are being spent, SafeNotes changes that by allowing multi-sig operators a space to add a category and description to each of their transactions.

Why do you think it has yet to be solved? Is it merely a lack of funding or are there other barriers at play?

I think this has yet to be solved because there hasn’t been a standard implemented yet, SafeNotes seeks to be that standard!

What is the best-case outcome of receiving this grant?

We onboard all Nouns DAO funded projects and allow for more spending transparency across organizations

If you had access to 10x the funding amount, what could you improve? How would the outcome and impact change?

SafeNotes achieves the big thing that it sets out to achieve, a space for annotation of transactions. But I would be open to adding more features that Nouns DAO requests.

Execution

How will you carry out the project and bring it to completion?

I will talk to Nouns DAO teams like the DUNA team to add them to the admin page and allow them to categorize their transactions. Adding Nouns to the SafeNotes homespage and giving individuals admin access.

What is an interesting (operational) detail about the project that is non-obvious to an outsider?

All admin functions can be performed by the user themself once they have been onboarded. From adding and removing categories, multichain SAFEs, and other admins.

What does the timeline to completion look like? Any major factors that could delay the project? Any hard deadlines you need to comply with?

I can add Nouns to SafeNotes by next week.

Are you already working on this project, and for how long? What have you learned?

Yes, 2 months. I have learned that lots of community members want their DAOs to have a method for recording transactions in place.

I made it for myself for my own use case at ENS and onboarded Uniswap after I had posted about it on X
