Hello my name is Flex and I’ve been in crypto since 2012. I have been an art curator in the past for various projects including the Tez Vending Machine (2022) and TezNouns (March 23). As well recent projects including the Subjective NYC art festival at LUME Studios in Manhattan.

Tez Vending Machine

• The Tezos Art Vending Machine is a project born of a labor of love from a collector in the space the last 2.5 years, after having been a collector of digital art going back to 2018. Since inception the project has helped distribute over 75k nfts which were donated, curated and collected from artists all over the world. My educational background is in art history so working with artists (as well as being an artist myself) and helping to create syngery within creator economies is something I am deeply passionate about. This work is the proof of concept for the Nouns Vending Machine.

TezNouns

Additionally, I am the creator of TezNouns! TezNouns was created as proof of concept for a Nouns DAO prop on the Tezos Art Vending Machine to create a custom Nouns branded version of the machine in order to proliferate and encourage minting, exploration and support of the various nounish art projects within the Tez ecosystem. It sold out over 3k pieces in a matter of minutes and had such enthusiasm within the community took on a life of its own. To date the project has over 50 contributing artists who have created their own custom including FVCKRENDER, SABET, BRANDON MIGHTY, CEMHAH, ZAFGOD, RINIIFISH, UCZINE, YUDHO, and many others!

Distribution Strategy

Network

• Base and Mainnet depending on where existing art is located.
• New Commissioned Works will prioritize Base network.

Economics

Initially ETH will be used as the payment mechanic of the machine. The contract will allow for any token to be used and multiple tokens to be permisseble during events. This means we could use $nouns, $nogs, or another Nouns native token in the future!

Then its possible to use these funds to recycle a percentage back to the community via rounds or flows as an economic flywheel for its distribution to a wider audience as well as to help build liquidity in the ecosystem.

Initially we propose this revenue distribution from the Nouns Vending Machine:

• 80% of revenue from the vending machine will be used for additional art collection.
• 20% to use for a flows funding artists to continue the cycle of development.

We feel that this supports the nounish creative community and creates an economically viable use case and which will help spark a more robust creator economy around it. Including bringing builders and artists back to the community in a meaningful way. Ultimately we hope to keep this responsibility placed with the vending machine curator who will continue to oversee the project.
