Nouns 'O Clock Interview with @RobotFishGirl
Nouns 'O Clock Interview with @RobotFishGirl
I genuinely find this to be vital work. For anyone who hasn’t worked with kids or education, it’s easy to brush off a proposal like this as just ‘giving some crayons to children’ or something similar, but what you don’t realize is how important creativity is to the development of children. The parallel that I like to draw that I think a lot of people in this space will understand easier is math. Kids have to do math throughout the course of their education, and a lot of us that have had that experience grow up, enter the real world, realize we have a calculator in our pocket at all times and ask ‘Why did I have to learn all that stuff if I’m never gonna use it?’ It’s true, most people don’t need those formulas, but it’s not about memorizing equations. It’s about doing the work, which trains your brain to think logically! It’s the same thing as going to a gym to train your muscles, math is weight training for logic. Doing creative things, like these kids will do with these versatile tools, not only gives children training to think creatively- a vital skill across many industries- but it trains neuroplasticity, giving children the tools they need to solve problems without relying entirely on previous experience.
Proposal Details
1. Collaboration Between Kitpas and NounsDAO
Kitpas is a water-soluble chalk product made by Rikagaku Co., Ltd., a Japanese art material manufacturer. We propose creating a collaborative package with NounsDAO.
a) Producing 400 Sets of Nounish Kitpas Packages
We will develop new Nounish colors inspired by the Nouns brand to include in a 24-color Kitpas set. A total of 400 sets will be manufactured and prepared for global distribution. This initial production can be scaled further in the future. Packaging will feature NounsDAO themes and designs, emphasizing collaboration.

b) Nounish Kitpas Color Tool
In collaboration with Midas and Afrideva, we will develop a Kitpas color tool. This tool will include a QR code printed on the Kitpas package, accessible via smartphones, helping users identify which Kitpas colors can be used to create specific shades.
- Color Tool Development: Analyzing Nouns-generated art to identify frequently used colors, we will create six new Kitpas colors. Additionally, six traditional Japanese colors will be developed, resulting in a 24-color set that includes the standard 12 colors.
- Color Accessibility: Each Kitpas stick will feature a label displaying the color name. Users can apply stickers with the color names provided. For inclusivity, the stickers will also include braille.

Why This Initiative?
Makoto Tagawa, one of the project leaders, has color blindness and often struggles to identify colors accurately. This characteristic, shared by many globally, highlights the need for inclusive design. Incorporating color names and braille ensures the product is accessible to a broader audience. Additional outreach efforts will include videos and workshops to demonstrate the tool’s applications and benefits.

2. Collaboration with Children Worldwide
This project is not just about product development; it is about fostering creativity and collaboration with children worldwide using the Nounish Kitpas package.

c) Nounish Coloring Book
- A bilingual 12-page coloring book themed around Nouns, featuring illustrations by Makoto Tagawa and members of Appreciation Space.
- Each page will include a QR code linking to the Farcaster Gallery for easy sharing of completed artwork without requiring account signups or wallet connections.
- The coloring book will use synthetic paper, allowing reusable and waterproof creative expressions with Kitpas. Pages will also highlight interesting facts about NounsDAO and the importance of Web3 in creative collaboration.
d) Farcaster Gallery
- An expanding global repository of creativity, showcasing thousands of artworks uploaded monthly. The gallery will serve as a hub for curated exhibitions, contests, and collaborative projects centered on Kitpas and Nouns art.
- Regularly updated thematic challenges will be introduced to encourage continuous engagement.
e) Sending 100 Kitpas Sets to Uganda
- We will distribute 100 Kitpas sets to Uganda, promoting global creativity and accessibility.
- This initiative will also involve local workshops and partnerships with schools to maximize impact.

FAQ
1. Why not focus only on Japan?
We have been building a strong foundation of nounish art workshops for the past several years. With the recent success of Prop 667 and the training of the first American Kitpas instructor (Midas), we are ready to expand our focus globally. Multilingual and cross-cultural collaboration has always been a core intent, currently expressed through our weekly “World Wide Nouns from Japan” and “International Theme Appreciation” audio spaces on Twitter/X.com, as well as through previous proposals.
2. What is the ROI of this proposal? How will this increase Nouns NFT value?
The reason we submitted this proposal to create these Nounish Kitpas is not to commercialize and sell them. Please note that we are not just going to make them and be done with it, nor are we simply going to distribute them. Our goal is to create this product, deliver it directly to children around the world, and hold workshops using the Kitpas. This is why we have submitted this proposal.
3. How will the impact of this proposal be measured?
We will track participation in all of our online and in-person workshops, as well as the number of distributed Nounish Kitpas packs and coloring books provided to children. Additionally, our Farcaster gallery and appnouns.com website will be updated to highlight Nounish artwork from children around the world.
This concludes our Part 2 proposal. Through Kitpas, we aim to expand the reach of Nouns and NounsDAO, fostering a world where creativity flourishes and Web3 adoption grows. We are committed to sharing progress updates and insights throughout the implementation phase to ensure transparency and community engagement.
