We are nouns.fe ✨ For those of you who are new members of the DAO, we are passionate marginalized competitors and contributors to the women’s esports scene. Join us in our journey in trailblazing a path to the top, showing that the only thing that matters is turning dreams into goals, and working towards it. (+with the people you love!)

🎵 Nouns.fe, who are we? 🎵

As a self-managed team competing in the top circuit for women in Counter-strike, we went down the rabbit hole through a Prop House round hosted by Esports. After discovering what it means to us to be ‘Nounish’, it felt only right to pursue the vision of building here with you all. We aim to keep changing the meta and crushing the ceilings of expectations of ourselves, both as players and ambassadors for Nouns ⌐◨-◨ — In May 2024, we passed Prop 552 !

Exploring the Nouniverse & repping the DAO for the past year+ has been a treat, and we’ve built a brand for fans to be proud of :)

2024 Recap - Competition, Governance and More!

We’ve had a busy and successful past year where we’ve accomplished many of our goals as competitors, ambassadors and governors. Check out what we’ve done below!

DAO Governance & Nounish Activity

Since our delegation of Noun 117 and 271, we have voted on a total of 74 proposals with 100% VWR rate!

During this time, our players (nounslunari.eth and jesscas.eth) have both joined Nouncil, participating in governance there as well.

Every week for the past year, we post a thread of the current proposals and vote on them as a team, and make efforts to understand the tech & culture ^~ ^

Goals for 2025

The story continues…! Our goals for 2025 include:

• Showing up IRL, spreading the nogs
  • Grow our passionate fanbase further and encourage them to join us on-chain and in discord. Encourage on-chain interaction, making the pathway for gamers to be introduced to web3 and nouns.

Continuing to support us on the path we’ve paved the past year, means taking a twice-proven conviction bet on great public ambassadors of the DAO. We are also dedicated to increasing IRL presence this upcoming year, allowing us to earn valuable rank points, and engage with communities already familiar with crypto adjacent culture.

• Launders LAN 2 - tournament funded by prop 623. Nouns.fe spread the noggles joy making sure every pair of eyes was covered.
• Frag - North America’s leading grassroot tournament organizer, hosting 6-8 events per year. Nouns.fe is currently committed to competing at Fragadelphia x LvLUpExpo Las Vegas in April. More eyes will be covered. Forever. Enter the noggles.

ESL impact Season 7 & Competition

Coming into 2025, the stage has been set. North America has been dominated by ONE singular team since the dawn of its existence, and we are closing the gap every season - it is time to see the titans fall. For the first time in years, NA also has a second qualification slot to make it to finals, effectively making this year the most opportune yet.

The professional women’s Counter-Strike circuit has been announced for 2025, sporting a new huge monetary incentive (up to $100k) for teams to create content, as incentive for growing the scene at every level.

  • $125,000 for top 6 teams to make short form content
  • $125,000 for top 6 teams to make long form content

Earning a spot at the Impact Finals will be one of our main goals for us as the new year unfolds, debuting worldwide as passionate fan-fave challengers for NA, and putting Nouns on the global scale for Women’s Esports.

• For additional performance goal incentive, when we qualify for the event, we unlock funds to purchase 6 NounsWatches, and 6 Precious Noggles for the team to own, rep the DAO, and support subcommunities!
  • If we do not reach this goal in the duration of this Prop, we return those funds ($1450) back to the DAO’s treasury.

Opportunities and Goals for ROI

In response to feedback on our previous prop (715), we recognize that the journey to the top is a long path. We’ve reduced our salaries, and developed additional strategies paired with plans for decisive action to ensure we’re able to do what we do for longer, while also allowing the DAO to fund other valuable subcommunities. Thus, (with helpful insight from amazing Nouners!) we have laid out specific goals for sustainability.

In 2025, our goal is to grow out a healthy supporter email list, socials, discord server, and double-down on what we’ve found the most success in during the past year of repping Nouns while compensated and uncompensated. Revenue streams include:

• Competition Prize Money
• Sponsorships/Partnerships
• nouns.fe Merch Store, with 2+ drops per year
• Ad revenue from content creation/streaming/etc (with help from editing staff and SMM)

We will also be committing 50% of all future revenue/earnings to be stored in a multi-sig wallet, which we’ll use to save up to buy a Noun (at auction).

Our goal is to acquire 1 Noun for nounsfe.eth, after which, future revenue will be used to make ourselves as sustainable as possible to relieve pressure on the treasury and complete the flywheel.
