Why do I want to add Sneker to Nouns collection?:

～Adding to Cultural Icons～ I would suggest adding sneakers alongside skateboards and cassette tapes as symbols of Nouns being subculture superbrands. The skateboard head gives the impression that Gami-san (Gnars) and Bob Burnquist-san are pushing nouns into a subculture superbrand, and the cassette tape head gives the impression that the park is good vibes music and Benjamin-san shines in nouns town. The addition of a new sneaker head in yellow, which is also the brand’s color, may encourage further subcultures to flourish, such as street fashion and breakdancing. Sneakers are not just footwear; they’re a canvas for self-expression in street fashion, a crucial element in breakdancing, and a status symbol in many urban subcultures. By incorporating sneakers, Nouns can tap into these rich cultural veins, potentially attracting new community members and inspiring fresh artistic interpretations. This move would solidify the position of Nouns as a superbrand that bridges various subcultures, creating a more diverse and inclusive community.

Design process:

Six major updates were made from prototype to completion.

• v1 Color change of upper
• v2 Change of sole and mouth
• v3 Change of mouth, upper color and sole
• v4 Restore mouth and sole to original
• v5 Changed to a yellow color close to the original
• v6 Change mouth color

From v1 to v4, a lot of iteration and time was spent exploring the color of the upper, changing the sole and mouth, and finally deciding to return the sole and mouth to the original.

For the v5, we pursued a yellow color that would accentuate the original upper color. Finally, we chose fbc311 , which had never been used before

In v6, we reviewed the blue mouth and tested different colors. Finally, we decided to use cold gray (adc8cc) to reduce the focus of the mouth.(Thanks for your help, Facu-san.)

Collection addition criteria:

• Simplicity Over Detail, It avoids excessive focus on details, shadows, and textures, keeping the design clean and straightforward.
• The design is scalable and functions effectively as a Profile Picture (PFP).
• Design elements do not invade the body preventing conflicts with accessories.
• It maintains a recognisable silhouette.
• It aligns with the Noun’s values and has a universal meaning.
• It represents the entire element, not just portions or specific details.
• The design is built around the glasses rather than merely overlaying them.
• The official color palette is used, and the number of colours in the design is limited to ensure consistency and simplicity.
