Rationale for Swap

As many know, I’m a fan of the Flamingo head. Before the first Flamingo head noun was minted, I was already using it for FloriNouns logo and later launched two DAOs on Nouns Builder (to better understand the mechanism) with only the Flamingo head.

Since the auction reached a level where I could finally bid, I’ve been waiting on a Flamingo. I had added the trait on NounScout.wtf but the flamingo has been elusive. The TNS team has been triving but I gave up and started bidding anyway.

But why this Flamingo?

As the foremost expert in nounish flamingos, I can tell you that it’s not the first NounsDAO flamingo (270) or the first on auction (276) or the most aesthetic (276, 539 or 550) or with my favorite noggles (1066) or the cutest (681) BUT it was the noun that was fomo’d with me in mind, as demonstrated by Eres mi Flamingo, the song that goes with the POAP created for Noun 389. So vinyl flamingo is my fave noun in the whole DAO and I’d love to swap safety shower for it.

Some asked why I didn’t swap the pipe I won in the prop house round for a flamingo – well, I got attached quickly after Messup’s art depicting a flamingo inside the pipe (https://x.com/ProfWerder/status/1751347444237951237) and couldn’t part with it. So I already own flamingopipe.eth – I’m just missing the flamingo.
