Droposal: Nouns x Protocol Guild short film
Funded 4 months ago via Proposal 407, this 1 minute short film celebrates the tireless work of the Protocol Guild. We spent the last 4 months working on this short film with The Line to produce this film, and now this labour of love is coming to a chain near you.
We’d like to release the premiere of this short film by minting it from the DAO and thereby canonize it along other amazing nouns-funded media like The Wizard’s Hat, This is Nouns, and more.

Proceeds go to cover cost of production and as a donation to Protocol Guild: a collective of collective of Ethereum core contributors!

Note on proposal mechanics: This is a signal only proposal that whose outcome will be executed as follows:
- On March 11th, if the proposal is successful, but still queued, nounsfilm.eth will manually create a zora drop with the above parameters with the final video of the short film
- As soon as possible following the creation of the NFT contract, ownership of the NFT will be transfered to nouns.eth, securing the provenance of the drop
- Most users minting the NFT will be seeing its owner as nouns.eth
- When the proposal is executed, nothing will happen as the drop will already have been created
This unconventional proposal process is due to the fact that I miscalculated the total proposal lifecycle. Unfortunately, a normal proposal would put us 2 days behind launch schedule. This unconventional set up allows us to meet our deadline while also maximize the provenance.
