TLDR

Funding for one quarter to focus on the development of bound.wtf as a platform for awarding small/micro grants to creators in the Nouns ecosystem.

Background

In December I launched a MVP (web application and smart contract) that allowed anyone to create content with an onchain attribution to Nouns using Zora protocol rewards.

Over 60 NFTs (non spam) were created by the community on both Zora and Base L2s generating more than 500 mints and protocol rewards that can be claimed by Nouns through a proposal. Many collections came from a TNS hosted art competition where I sponsored a 1 ETH prize pool to support submissions celebrating Art Basel. Other collections consisted of content ranging from memes to the Nouns Esports yearly recap.

Going forward I plan to create a mostly automated system that incentivizes others to produce content by rewarding them with ETH, an alternative to small grants funding that can scale past a centralized team.

Focus

Currently I’m preparing a large update that incorporates feedback received since launch. Moving forward my goals are to:

1) Create a public and transparent process for earning rewards from the Bound prize pool 2) Increase discovery of collections through the website and a publicly exposed API 3) Support multimedia content and a consumer grade UX

My overarching goal is to build towards a platform that supports a Nouns creator and minting economy.

Compensation & Terms

I’d like to request 115k USDC to fund Bound for the next quarter. An additional 4.20 ETH is requested to seed a prize pool which will be used to reward collection creators.

• 90k USDC streamed over 3 months
• 25k initial release to cover infra and misc costs
• 4.20 ETH for use as rewards and incentives
