Background

DAOs need to do work, and they rely on contributors to do so. A marvelous product released lately is Dework.

Proposal

I have already set up a Nation3 workspace on Dework, and allowed for contributors to make suggestions, and also in the future we can allow citizens to post new tasks, etc. In order to make pay outs to contributors, we need some NATION, and asking the DAO each time to pay small NATION bounties is cumbersome and costly. Therefore I’d like to propose creating a guild that can make payouts. Thanks to Dework’s integration with Gnosis Safe, payouts can be batched so signatories can approve payouts each week, for example, instead of having to do that each time. Signatories won’t have the responsibility to review submissions and accept contributions. That will be the responsibility of core contributors, and in the future of other guilds (e.g. tech guild, comms guild). Rather, they would just verify that someone has reviewed the contribution and approved it, and they will execute the payment.

Specifications

• Create a Gnosis Safe with 5 members, and 3/5 threshold for proposals.
• Transfer 5 NATION to it each month. If there’s need to increase this amount, a new governance proposal will be needed. If this guild needs to be phased out in the future, a Snapshot vote will suffice and the DAO will stop with the monthly payouts.

Candidacy

Two community members will be elected via a vote. Three core contributors: @0xGallego, @Anastasiya and @Luis will initially be part of the guild to ensure correct functioning in its infancy.
